Is This Art Maybe is the umbrella for Judith Zoë’s public philosophy work. You can find more information on isthisartmaybe.com. I see my practice as a form of art: each project is an invitation to think, talk, and act together on questions that shape our everyday lives.
My approach is rooted in public philosophy as an artistic practice: open, curious, and grounded in care. I use philosophical tools to clarify concepts, bring diverse perspectives together, and create spaces that resist extractive dialogue.

What do I do?

Talks, Keynotes and lectures
I speak about the ways our values and principles show up in the real world, from intimate technologies to public spaces, and how philosophy can help us navigate them.
Workshops & Creative Interventions
I design and facilitate spaces for collective reflection. These can take many forms: conversations, installations, or other interventions that bring people together to share experiences and imagine new possibilities.
Research & Strategy
I help organisations, institutions, and communities make sense of complex social and ethical questions and translate those insights into concrete actions and policies. I focus on connecting (philosophical) theory to practices and lived experiences – and the other way around.
Partners
I collaborate with cultural institutions, researchers, artists, policymakers, NGOs, educators, and community groups who want to slow down, reflect, and organise around what really matters. If you’d like to co-create an intervention, invite me to speak, or explore how we can work together: judith@isthisartmaybe.com or judith@thedigitalperiod.com
I have worked for/with (examples): Humanity in Action, Kunstmuseum, PrivacySalon, De Balie, CGSO, De Maakbare mens.
